Christmas at the CarrickAnother year, how quickly time passes. Our seventh Christmas since acquiring The Carrick Lodge Hotel rapidly approaches. How time flies when you're... working hardThe whole team at the Carrick, to a man (and woman) also all heading for their seventh Christmas at the Hotel. A fact which we are all very proud of. What a huge benefit being surrounded by the same professional, dedicated and experienced people for the '7 Carrick Years'. A point which has obviously not gone unnoticed by our many frequent visitors. The same smiling face, the same high standards and that same assurance that your visit is in capable and familiar hands. To those of you who maybe considering visiting us for the first time, what I will say to you is, that in these days of sporadic, erratic and sterile service, what you will get at The Carrick is everyone's full attention and effort towards ensuring that your visit is memorable for all the right reasons. The friendly banter within the Hotel is the only contentious issue. The Kitchen Brigade headed by Grier and Graham strongly believe that it is their culinary delights that are the main attraction. While Julie, Sharon, Scott and the front of house team are more of a mind that it is the friendly, consistent high standard of service and hospitality that is the key element, and then of course there is the lady of the house (yes the same one), who thinks that the surroundings and well admired Christmas decorations may have something to do with the huge success of past Christmas's. As always my own balanced opinion, not to mention a degree of diplomacy is that it is without a doubt, the unique combination of all of the above that will guarantee you a visit to remember this coming festive period. The Turkey's are ordered, Christmas pudding and Mulled Wine ingredients ready to go, and oh yes, Tracey's gone shopping... again !!
